About - Valerian caused a sensation as the winner of the stallion test in Vechta in January 2026! In his very first public appearance, he secured victory in an extremely strong field with an outstanding and absolutely confident performance on all test days, achieving an overall score of 8.87. He received the following individual scores: trot 9.0; canter 8.5; walk 8.1; rideability 9.5; willingness to perform 9.0.

Sire - His sire Va'Pensiero is Federal and Hanoverian Champion as well as HLP winner and can now boast successes up to St. Georges Special. Va'Pensiero sire Vitalis, was named Reserve Champion at the NRW licensing in 2009 and went on to compete in the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in both 2012 and 2013. In 2016, he was honoured as “Stallion of the Year” at the Young Horse World Championships in Ermelo (NED) and won the final of the Nuremberg Burg-Pokal in Frankfurt. To date, he has produced around 100 licensed sons in Germany, including numerous champion and premium stallions as well as several national titleholder

Damline - Valerian’s dam line traces to the pure Thoroughbred family 9h. His dam’s sire, De Niro, was long ranked among the world’s leading dressage sires (WBFSH). The third dam, Delicia, produced four stallions, including Grand Prix horses Cadeau Noir (Christ) and Finest Ampere (Ampere), plus Influencer (Asgard’s Ibiza) and Forster TH (Fidertanz). Delicia’s daughters Calimera (Christ) and Bailadora (Borsalino) produced the premium Hanoverian stallion Fontainebleau l’Ami (For Romance I) and Voyageur (Vitalis), DSP second reserve champion, respectively. From the fourth dam, C’est la vie (Calypso II), the line produced Grand Prix and advanced performers like Necolia’s Fine Spirit(Fidertanz), Filomeno (Formel Eins), and licensed show jumper Cool Quidam (Colman).
