About - Cristallo II was awarded premium in the Münster-Hahndorf stallion licensing in 2009. He followed this outstanding achievement one year later becoming reserve champion in the young horse test, with exceptionally high scores for his gaits and rideability. As a four-year-old he took silver at the young horse championship in Westfahlen, and in 2012 he qualified for the Bundeschampionate. Cristallo II was competed with international success by Jerry Smit before Tadahiro Hayashi took over the reins in 2016.

Sire - Cornet Obolensky competed in the 2008 Olympics at the young age of nine. He is a foundation stallion in the breeding of modern jumping horses, and is currently ranked third in the 2016 WBFSH Sire Rankings. The total earnings of his offspring, including former World Number One Cornet D'Amour, Cornado NRW, Cornet's Cristallo, Cocoshynsky, Cornetto King, and Comme Il Faut, are over €3.7 million. The Clinton/Heartbreaker cross is a proven formula that has produced multiple grand prix jumpers including Cordess and Consul DL Vie Z, and 18 licensed stallions.

Damline - Cristallo II`s dam has several elite horses in her bloodline. Grand dam Profilda competed successfully up to the elite level. His full brother Cristallo I was also a successful international show jumper. Grand sire Cassini I was competed internationally at Grand Prix level by Franke Sloothaak and is known to be one of the legendary sires in show jumping breeding.

Progeny - The offspring of Cristallo II have performed exceptionally well in young horse classes and championships and are demonstrating strong capabilities as they move up in class towards the top of the sport. He has several offsprings with placings up to international Grand Prix. Notably his son SIG Chiari has earnings of €230,364.00. The qualities which Cristallo II's offspring are often praised for are their attitude to work and rideability, in combination with a good jumping technique.
