About - Catover is a typey son of Catoki. With more than €250,000 in earnings and a very high-level record with the Mexican team, he has proven the value of his pedigree on the field.
Performace - Catover was started in 6 and 7 years old classes by H. von Eckermann, he was a good winner and notably placed 5th in a 1.45m event in Leipzig and 6th in Aix-la-Chapelle. At 8 years old, under the saddle of P. Weishaupt, he was 8th in the 1.55m GP at the CSI3* in Offenburg then won in the CSI 1.45m with M. Onate. He then progressed with R. Lambre with numerous rankings to his name, winner of the 1.60m GP at the CSIO4* in Wellington, 9th in a 1.60m in Guadalajara, winner of a 1.55m at the CSI3* in Monterrey, 5th in a 1.55m in Calgary, 11th in the 1.55m GP at the CSI4* in Monterrey, 6th in two 1.50m GPs at the CSI2* in Balvanera. He finished his career with A. Sanchez-Cozar, 2nd in the 1.60m GP and 5th in the 1.55m GP at the CSI5* in Coapexpan, 3rd in a 1.60m at the CSIO5* in San Juan Capistrano, 7th in a 1.55m and 8th in a 1.60m at the CSI4*-W of Puebla, 4th in the CSIO5* Nations Cup of Vancouver, winner of a 1.50m at the CSI5* of San Miguel de Allende, 4th in a 1.50m at the CSI5* of Calgary, 5th in a 1.50m at the CSI4*, again ranked twice in 1.50m events at the CSI4* of Coapexpan.
Sire - Sire Catoki is Philip Weishaput's World Cup horse, winning the Bordeaux leg of the series in February 2011. He was reserve Bundeschampion in 2003, Weser-Ems state champion and won the GP of Rastede in 2006. He has since been passed to young Danish rider Emil Hallundbaek, who piloted him to 5th at the FEI European Junior Championships 2015 and placed many times at 1.50m, a testament to his rideability and talent. Catoki has several offspring jumping at grand prix, including the licensed son Carrico. Catoki's sire Cambridge was also the sire of the Chambertin, who in turn sired the much-praised, but now deceased, Chacco-Blue.
Damline - His mother Verlinis the daughter of Contact Me, who has produced multiple top level offspring. His granddam Fucera produced: Chalan , CSI 1.50m, 8th in the GP Sires of the World, Chateau Pms , stallion, Calvero IV CSI 1.45m, Farina , CSI 1.45m.
Progeny - Dedicated to his sporting career, he has a few offspring, the first of which will be 7 years old in 2025. Among them: Cool Jazz , winner in CSI-YH 6 years old with T. Praskova, Lone von der Hahnenkoppel , finalist at 6 years old in Belgium with M. Brose, Cecilia 47 , finalist at 6 years old in Denmark with J. Pedersen World Championship for 6 years old in Lanaken with J. Pedersen, Cat Over , good winner in CSI-YH 6 years old with V. Raubenheimer, Cathleen 47 , world championship for 6 years old in Lanaken with B. Behrend.
